Recognizing that one of the most important and at the same time the most difficult problems of healthy work design is the design of the indoor climate, the Technical Committee of the German Society for Occupational Safety and Health decided to pay special attention to dealing with this question. It was considered appropriate to focus the treatment of the subject first of all on questions of ventilation and ventilation of the normal work area, i.e. the work area in which no quantities of dust, vapours and gases are produced beyond the general level. The aim of this thesis was to write a generally understandable document that was valid for all branches of industry.
