The General Pathomorphological Foundations of Tuberculosis by W Pagel
The pathomorphological basis of tuberculosis is divided into three main natural sections: 1. The general tissue reactions to the penetration and accumulation of the virus; 2. the morphological substrates of tuberculosis as a general disease, its overall course and its biological possibilities in the organism; 3. the special pathology of individual tuberculous organ changes, which is not discussed here. If the first purely general part and the last purely specific part are necessary and understandable in themselves, then justification for the middle part, both general and specific, and moreover compelling necessity, results from the fundamental recognition that the phases in the overall course of human tuberculosis do not mean the same thing, but depend on factors - which are conceivably different in their appearance. which are also related to the properties of the virus before and upon entry into the organism, but above all are found in this organism itself and the degree of its affinity to the virus. This, in turn, is largely determined by a genetic and a state moment. A genetic one, namely, which shows the dependence of the affinity for the virus on previous or non-preceding contacts between parasite and host, and a state one, which as a result of these prehistoric relationships now comes to light again in the nature of the actual disease and finds quite different morphological expression depending on the situation. If we add the genetic factor of infection and the responsible sensitivity, then the essential points of this middle section are already given.| ISBN 13 | 9783642889448 |

"Kindle Unlimited kept raising prices. This is a one-time purchase and the file is permanently on my iPad. Best decision I've made for my reading habit."
"I compared Kindle vs this store. Kindle is cheaper monthly but you don't own anything. Here I paid once and the PDF is mine for life. Highly recommend."
"Left Kindle behind after they removed a book I was reading mid-series. With this PDF, nobody can take it away from me. True ownership feels good."
"Was skeptical about paying $18.95 when Kindle shows $3.99, but then I did the math — Kindle Unlimited is $143/year! This is way better value long term."
"Love that I can read this on any device without installing the Kindle app. The PDF works on my laptop, phone, and tablet seamlessly. So much freedom."
"My Kindle subscription was getting expensive. Switched to buying PDFs here and I'm saving money while actually building a permanent digital library I control."
