Wir berichten iiber den zweiten Teil der Wintervor lesung 1969/1970, erganzt durch einige Kapitel aus der natiirlich auch im Sommer 1969' vorgetragenen Neuropathologie. Es war uns daran gelegen, die pathologische Anatomie des Nervensystemes geschlossen, d. h. in einem Zuge zur Darstellung zu bringen. Sie umfaBt hier beide anteiligen Elemente, namlich den im Sommer 1969 und den im Winter 1969/1970 erorterten Stoff. Unser Buch berichtet iiber die pathologische Anatomie der Drusen mit Innerer Sekretion, der Geschlechtsorgane, iiber einige Kapitel aus dem Bereich der Pathologie der SchwangerschaJt, der Brustdruse und des Bewegungsapparates (W. DOERR), schlieBlich iiber die Pathologie des Nervensystemes (G. ULE). Wir sind auch diesmal dem im Vorwort zur "Allgemeinen Pathologie" (Heidel berger Taschenbiicher Bd. 68) genannten Grundsatz treu geblieben, durch den sich ein Taschenbuch, wie wir glauben, von einem Lehrbuch unterscheidet: Wir meinen die "dringliche Unmittelbarkeit" der Darstellung. Sie versucht, aus dem Erfahrungsschatz des Alltags zuverlassig zu berichten, halt aber die "Grenzen offen«.
