Pick's Disease by H Jakob
Countless studies on detailed questions, fine structural changes in the nervous system, cytology and cytopathology, biochemical and electrophysiological processes have led to a deeper understanding and insight into the genesis of morphological changes and chemical metabolic processes in many genetically determined and so-called degenerative diseases in the last few decades. The most significant progress has been made in diseases that have been imitated in animal experiments. However, in those degenerative diseases that were not accessible to the experiment, the major connections in the central nervous system have largely been forgotten with regard to their clinical-anatomical or neuropathological correlations. Therefore, taking into account clinical questions, it will still be necessary to aim to determine the course and focus of the process in question as precisely as possible in order to be able to obtain indications for a clinical-neuropathological correlation that is worth considering. Even today, studies on topical questions aimed at giving as much as possible an idea of the course of atrophy are by no means complete. In the local neuropathology laboratory, about 50 Pick's atrophies have been dissected since 1954. In the course of the systematic examination of the cases and the review of the literature, which had already been carried out at some time, we became aware of the large number of unsolved questions, which could certainly raise very interesting and far-reaching aspects in view of the special nature of the disease process. In addition, there was the handbook article by Ltiers and Spatz (1957) on Pick's disease, which stimulated further investigations with its clear elaboration of still open questions.| ISBN 13 | 9783642863400 |

"I was paying $11.99/month for Kindle Unlimited but realized I was renting books, not owning them. Bought this PDF and it's mine forever. Never going back to Kindle."
"Switched from Kindle to these PDFs. Same book, but I actually OWN it now. No monthly fees, no app required. Worth every penny."
"Kindle Unlimited kept raising prices. This is a one-time purchase and the file is permanently on my iPad. Best decision I've made for my reading habit."
"I compared Kindle vs this store. Kindle is cheaper monthly but you don't own anything. Here I paid once and the PDF is mine for life. Highly recommend."
"Left Kindle behind after they removed a book I was reading mid-series. With this PDF, nobody can take it away from me. True ownership feels good."
"Was skeptical about paying $18.95 when Kindle shows $3.99, but then I did the math — Kindle Unlimited is $143/year! This is way better value long term."
"Love that I can read this on any device without installing the Kindle app. The PDF works on my laptop, phone, and tablet seamlessly. So much freedom."
"My Kindle subscription was getting expensive. Switched to buying PDFs here and I'm saving money while actually building a permanent digital library I control."
