Band 3 der Pathologie fa13t vier wichtige Themenkreise zusammen: 1m ersten Teil werden die Erkrankungen der Urogenitalorgane (Niere und ableitende Harnwege, mannliches und weibliches Genitale) gemeinsam mit denjenigen der Mamma abgehandelt. Das Kapitel weibliches Genitale enthalt auch einen Beitrag zur Zytodiagnostik atypischer Epithelveranderungen im Portio-IZervixbereich und damit zu den Friiherkennungsma13nahmen des weiblichen Genitalkarzinoms. Der zweite Abschnitt beinhaltet die Erkrankungen der endokrinen Organe und des diffusen endokrinen Zellsystems sowie die pluri- glandularen RegulationsstOrungen und die paraneoplastischen endo- krinen Syndrome. Es erschien sinnvoll, dieses Kapitel in Band 3 des Gesamtwerkes einzufiigen, da es mit den iibrigen Beitragen dieses Bandes besonders eng verzahnt ist. Mit dem dritten Themenkreis wurden insofern neue Wege be- schritten, als erstmals in einem deutschsprachigen Lehrbuch der Patho- logie drei besondere Kapitel der Kinderpathologie gewidmet sind. Unter ihnen leitet das erste (Pathologie der Schwangerschaft, der Plazenta und des Neugeborenen) von der Pathologie des weiblichen Genitale zu derjenigen des Kindes iiber. Die beiden anschlie13enden Kapitel beschaftigen sich mit den Infektionskrankheiten des Fetus und des Neugeborenen und mit den Tumoren des Kindesalters, also mit zwei besonders wichtigen Bereichen der Kinderpathologie. Die Auf- nahme dieser drei Kapitel in das Gesamtwerk tragt einer Entwicklung Rechnung, die sich wahrend der letzten lahrzehnte in unserem Fach vollzogen und zur wissenschaftlichen Anerkennung des Teil- gebietes Kinderpathologie gefiihrt hat.| ISBN 13 | 9783642502224 |
