Es verbindet anato misch korrekte, auf das Wesentliche beschrankte, plastisch wirkende Darstellungen chirurgischer Zugange mit ansprechender kunstlerischer Gestaltung der Abbildungen in Schwarz-WeiB-Technik. Die anatomischen Bilder werden in glucklicher Weise erganzt durch Schemazeichnungen. Das prachtvoll ausgestattete Werk durfte zu einem taglichen Ratgeber des traumatologisch tatigen Chirurgen werden.
