Lumbar spine diseases involving the nervous system by D Hohmann
This volume presents the results of the 2nd Workshop on Progress in the Field of Neuroorthopaedics from 10 to 12 March 1983 in Erlangen. Diseases of the lumbar spine involving the nervous system are a topic that is not important behind the diseases of the cervical spine treated in 1982. However, it would be appropriate to give an approximate overview of the morphology, pathology and clinic of the lumbar spine in the context of such a workshop. From the field, which is already hardly visible today, only a few current aspects that appear to be particularly important in practice have therefore been singled out. This is also important because it is well known that the large number of preceding or permanent disabling lumbar spine diseases is of enormous socio-medical and economic importance. Lumbar diseases often cause long-term incapacity for work, high treatment costs, complex rehabilitation procedures and often lead to disability. They thus consume a not inconsiderable part of the total income earned by the population. In Sweden, for example, it is expected, according to lunghanns, that if the demand for optimal medical care continues to increase at the same rate, in 40-501 years the entire working population will be employed only in the service of health care. As a result of the high percentage of spinal diseases, a considerable part of the population will then work only for the spine, according to Junghanns.| ISBN 13 | 9783642689758 |

"I was paying $11.99/month for Kindle Unlimited but realized I was renting books, not owning them. Bought this PDF and it's mine forever. Never going back to Kindle."
"Switched from Kindle to these PDFs. Same book, but I actually OWN it now. No monthly fees, no app required. Worth every penny."
"Kindle Unlimited kept raising prices. This is a one-time purchase and the file is permanently on my iPad. Best decision I've made for my reading habit."
"I compared Kindle vs this store. Kindle is cheaper monthly but you don't own anything. Here I paid once and the PDF is mine for life. Highly recommend."
"Left Kindle behind after they removed a book I was reading mid-series. With this PDF, nobody can take it away from me. True ownership feels good."
"Was skeptical about paying $18.95 when Kindle shows $3.99, but then I did the math — Kindle Unlimited is $143/year! This is way better value long term."
"Love that I can read this on any device without installing the Kindle app. The PDF works on my laptop, phone, and tablet seamlessly. So much freedom."
"My Kindle subscription was getting expensive. Switched to buying PDFs here and I'm saving money while actually building a permanent digital library I control."
