Es geht um den menschlichen Umgang mit einer t dlichen Krankheit, um Lebensqualit t und Menschenw rde. Das Buch beinhaltet Themen wie Medizin und Sterben, die Pflege von Sterbenden sowie die Bedeutung der Kommunikation im Betreuungsteam und mit Sterbenden. Weiterhin stehen Vortr ge zur Netzwerkarbeit im Zentrum, die sich mit dem Sterben und dem Tod von Menschen besch ftigt, die eigentlich erst am Anfang ihres Lebens stehen - von Kindern. Ferner werden Aspekte der Trauerarbeit und Trauerbew ltigung aufgezeigt.
