Ais ich aufgefor- dert wurde, mein Einverstandnis zu geben, diesen als Einzeldarstellung herauszugeben, konnte ich mich nicht dazu entschliegen. Die vorgeschriebene Begrenzung auf eine bestimmte Seitenzahl hatte manche Wiinsche der Ausgestaltung verhindert. 1m iibrigen waren seither wieder drei Jahre verstrichen, eine Reihe neuer Erkenntnisse mugte daher bei einer Wieder- herausgabe beriicksichtigt werden. So ist manches erganzt und einiges umgestaltet worden. Hierbei wurde ich durch meine Mitarbeiter tatkraftig unterstiitzt, so dag jetzt eigentlich eine Gemeinschaftsarbeit meiner Klinik vorliegt. Entsprechend ihren besonderen 1nteressen- gebieten und Referaten wurden in folgender Weise einige meiner Oberarzte und Assi- stenten an der Gestaltung der einzelnen Kapitel beteiligt: Schilddriise (Dr. Freyschmidt), Nebenschilddriise (Priv.-Doz. Dr. Schmitt-Rohde), Nebennieren (Dr. Michel, Dr. Frey- schmidt), Sexualdriisen (Dr. Domke), Hypophyse (Dr. Schwarzkopff), Storungen des Kohlenhydratstoffwechsels (Priv.-Doz. Dr. Pickert, Priv.-Doz. Dr. Ritter, Dr. Miiller- Wieland), des Fetthaushaltes (Dr. Papageorgiou), des Eiweighaushaltes (Priv.-Doz. Dr. Grunze), des Calcium-Phosphathaushaltes (Priv.-Doz. Dr. Schmitt-Rohde), des Lipoid- stoffwechsels (Dr. Papageorgiou), des Purinstoffwechsels (Dr. Pahlke), des Mineral- und Wasserhaushaltes (Dr. Schwarzkopff) und des Carcinoid-Syndroms (Priv.-Doz.
