Die gute Aufnahme, die das Biochemische Handlexikon gefunden hat, ermogIicht es, schon jetzt zwei derartige Bande zur Ausgabe zu bringen. Sie umfassen die Gebiete: Kohlehydrate, Fette, Phosphatide, Sterine, Gallensauren und ferner die Proteine, Peptone, Polypeptide, Aminosauren und deren Ab- kommlinge. 1m letzteren Bande werden auch die beiden Proteide: Nucleoproteide und ihre Bausteine und ferner der Blutfarbstoff Aufnahme finden. In den Erganzungsbanden werden nicht nur die seit dem Erscheinen der friiheren Bande veroffentIichten Ergebnisse beriicksichtigt, sondern es sollen vor allem auch gebIiebene Lucken sorgfiiltig ausgefilllt werden.
